About Me

Snigdha at a cafe

Hi, I'm Snigdha Widge, a researcher based in Edmonton, Canada. I completed my undergraduate degree with a specialization in Psychology at the University of Alberta, and I'm driven by a deep commitment to building a career in healthcare where I can meaningfully impact people's lives.

My journey has been shaped by curiosity, compassion, and a passion for understanding the human side of health. I'm especially interested in how mental, physical, and social factors intersect to shape well-being, and I thrive in collaborative environments where I can bridge science, people, and practice.

As I grow in my career, I hope to contribute to systems that are more equitable, person-centred, and evidence-based and to support research that not only advances knowledge, but also empowers communities. Outside of work, I love reading, travelling, and exploring new ways to blend my interests in psychology, public health, and design.

Outside of research, I enjoy reading, travelling, working out, trekking, and discovering new cafes (I love caffeine!), these keep me curious, creative, and balanced.
